The Client: Retail chain of home, kitchen and bath decor.

The Project: Work with client to take client's web-based accounting and facilities program from beta to fully functional.

The Story: One of the areas in which AP&R really shines is how knowledgeable and flexible their accounting department is. This was put to the test when one client wanted to test a new web-based accounting and facilities program with real data. AP&R became the first vendor to operate under the new system. About 200 service calls per month were being taken, processed, invoiced and closed out, along with the generation of specific accrual and service call tracking reports.

Even though the new system was still in a "test" state, for AP&R, this was the new and only way of doing business with their client. This meant that a dedicated team needed to be assigned so that all bugs could be worked out in order to do business with this client. At times this entailed processing invoices three times, working with all departments, designing and customizing reports to the clients specifications, and even going without payment past 90 days until the system could properly issue payments.

The Result: After approximately 6 months, the site was fully functional. The client was able to lower operating costs through the new streamlined system and the efforts of AP&R's accounting and customer service teams.
